Give your coffee table, bench, or other low furniture project a bold, modern look with these 16" Zig Zag Metal Table Legs. The distinctive angular design adds a geometric detail while providing strong support for custom furniture projects.
Made from heavy-duty 2" × 1" steel tubing with a black powder-coated finish, these legs offer a sturdy foundation with a weight capacity of 600 lbs per leg (1,200 lbs per pair). Measuring 16" high and 13.75" wide, they are well suited for coffee tables, benches, and other low furniture applications.
Each leg includes a 4.75"-wide mounting plate with six mounting holes/slots for attachment to your tabletop or bench. Elongated mounting slots help accommodate the natural expansion and contraction of solid wood as humidity changes, reducing stress on the wood when properly installed. Levelling feet help stabilize furniture on uneven floors.
Key Features:
-
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: Made from 2" × 1" steel tubing with a distinctive Zig Zag design, rated for 600 lbs per leg (1,200 lbs per pair).
-
Distinctive Zig Zag Design: Creates a bold geometric appearance that complements modern, industrial, and contemporary furniture.
-
Black Powder-Coated Finish: Provides a clean, consistent appearance with a protective coating.
-
Adjustable Levelling Feet: Allow minor adjustments to help keep furniture steady on uneven floors.
-
Slotted Mounting Holes: Help accommodate natural wood movement when properly installed, making these legs suitable for solid wood furniture projects.
Recommended Applications:
Ideal for coffee tables, entryway benches, end tables, nightstands, plant stands, and other low furniture projects. The Zig Zag design works well with modern, industrial, and contemporary furniture styles.
Important Mounting Disclaimer:
Due to the unique construction of the Zig Zag legs, the third steel piece extending into the centre can sometimes prevent the levelling/mounting plate from sitting completely flat. This does not prevent the legs from being mounted. If you are concerned about pressure distribution, washers can be added at the outside mounting holes to help fill the small gap, which is typically less than 1/16.
Installation & Mounting Hardware:
We recommend using suitable threaded inserts and bolts for secure mounting. Always choose fasteners appropriate for your tabletop material and thickness.
For installation tips, see our Guide to Installing Threaded Inserts and Bolts, or browse our Table Leg Mounting Hardware for available mounting options.
