At Fractal Designs Inc, we’re a small, passionate team based in Belmont, Ontario, dedicated to high-quality woodworking—whether that means building custom furniture or supplying fellow makers with the tools, parts, and materials they need to bring their own projects to life.

We work with homeowners, woodworkers, DIYers, and designers across Canada who care about quality, craftsmanship, and supporting Canadian-made products.

How We Started

Fractal Designs began in 2018 with just Brad, working alone out of his dad’s single-car garage. It started as a side project driven by a love of woodworking—and some serious sticker shock at the cost of basic supplies. Quality table legs, finishes, and tools were either overpriced or hard to find in Canada.

That frustration became motivation. One small project turned into another, and before long, Brad’s solo garage setup became a growing workshop with a full team of makers. Today, we’re proud to offer both custom handmade furniture and trusted supplies for other woodworkers across Canada.

What We Do

We split our time between two things we love:

🔨 Custom Woodworking – We build high-end furniture, like dining tables, benches, and desks, using solid Canadian hardwoods. Every piece is made to order with attention to the finest details.

📦 DIY & Woodworking Supplies – From table legs and threaded inserts to finishes and fasteners, we offer a curated selection of quality supplies for makers. If it doesn’t hold up in our shop, we don’t sell it.
