Pre-Purchase Questions
We are generally 4-6 weeks to turn around a custom table top. This timeframe sometimes goes both ways, we will contact you if the timeframe isn't accurate.
We will contact you as soon as we have a delivery date in mind. We are a small business so we try to bunch our deliveries on certain days to provide the best service possible, and deliver them ourselves when possible. We are generally 4-6 weeks to produce and 2 additional weeks to find a date that works.
Most furniture stores are buying their tables from a maker like us- marking them up and then selling them to you. We are the maker. We do everything in house and each piece we make is touched by our full team at some point. You are essentially cutting out the middle man.
We use hardwax oils to finish our pieces unless otherwise asked. We can spray finish at a customer request in the same sheens listed. Hardwax oils are popular do to their ease of use, natural look and feel and future repairability.
You do however trade off some durability vs a typical spray finish. Your finish is as hard as your wood essentially. The major trade back on this is the repairability factor. A hardwax oiled table can be re-finished by anyone with a sander in a couple of hours. Where as a poly or lacquer, are extremely hard to blend and generally require sanding back down to the wood.
We generally tell people to use your table well, don't sweat the little things, and having your table refinished years down the line is no biggie. That doesn't mean the hardwax oils aren't durable- its just a huge pro of using them.

Buying a table from us is different then a store. We build every piece ourselves. We handle any defects at a shop level where most stores just cant offer that. We built this business on the premise of affordability- with our supplies. We are now doing the same with our woodworking. We are extremely competitively priced. We use all solid hardwoods and quality legs. All tables come channeled and are made in house. If you found a cheaper table, I would head caution. Is it hardwood? Is the company known? You can for sure get a cheaper MDF core wood veneer table. We don't provide that here, nor do we want to. We are here to build heirloom pieces that will always be valuable. Buying a hardwood table always retains value, even if it gets used and abused, you have a massive chunk of hardwood that can be refinished and used again. You can't do that with cheap veneer furniture.
After Purchase Questions
You can wipe your table down with a wet cloth and a mild soap. We use mostly hardwax oils for our finishes, we do have some specialized cleaners for our tables we will call you to discuss before delivery. These cleaners are not necessary but are nice to have as time goes on.
We mount all our table legs using high quality inserts and bolts. Your table can be easily assembled or disassembled using only an Allen key.
