Step 1: It All Starts with a Conversation

Most custom orders begin with a quick email or phone call. By the time customers reach out, they’ve often explored our Custom Table Builder and have a good idea of what they’re looking for. That’s a great place to start—but we’re always happy to help with the details.

We’ll talk about your space, your colour palette, and how the piece will be used. This helps us recommend the best wood species, finishes, and design features for your needs.

Step 2: You Dream It, We Design It

Every piece of custom furniture we build is made to order. That means you can personalize nearly every detail:

• Table size and shape
• Edge style (live edge, straight edge, custom chamfer)
• Wood species (walnut, maple, white oak, and more)
• Finish type (Rubio Monocoat, polyurethane)
• Stain colour and sheen level

Step 3: Material Selection

Once your design is finalized, we handle wood selection in-house. Raw lumber can be misleading, so we hand-pick boards based on grain, tone, and stability to ensure your piece turns out exactly as envisioned. We only use solid Canadian hardwoods—no veneers or fillers, ever.

Step 4: Built In-House by Skilled Woodworkers

All of our custom pieces are crafted in our Belmont, Ontario workshop by a small team of experienced woodworkers. Every cut, joint, and finish is done by hand. We’re proud to be one of the most capable woodworking shops in Ontario, with the tools and skills to take on even the most complex builds.

We maintain quality control throughout the process, not just at the end—because every detail matters.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

When your build is complete, we apply your chosen finish and sheen. Whether you’ve selected a polyurethane or a hardwax oil, we apply it carefully to protect and enhance the wood’s natural beauty. From matte to satin to gloss, we make sure your finish looks and feels just right.

Step 6: Delivery You Can Count On

We offer multiple delivery options:

• In-house delivery and carry-in service within ~350 km of our shop
• Freight shipping across Canada
• White-glove delivery available upon request
